Hello, world!

Questallia is a happy, charming, optimistic character. She enjoys talking to people, her favorite topic being the personal development and her favorite hobby being writing and listening to other people’s stories. Here there are a few words she wishes to address to you, dear guest.

I’d like to tell you a few things about me: two years ago I decided to quit a very nice and well-paid job in marketing and to set up my own business. It was the step of my life and I would never regret taking it. That first day of non-employment, after 14 years of work, brought me huge satisfaction. I woke up in the morning, I looked out the window, then I realized that I don’t have to do anything, that I can choose the way my day is going to look like! It was such an amazing feeling that I hardly can describe in words. I was as happy as can be, despite some of my friends who told me that I was completely crazy doing that, that I should have given it one more thought before quitting my job… That’s fine with me, everybody has the right to have an opinion, but this does not mean that I have to obey other people’s prejudices.

Briefly, my new company was doing well, figures were satisfying, despite some cash flow problems I had a few times. Then, after one year, I realized that I was not happy anymore doing all those routine daily things and I took another radical decision: I sold my business and I started again from the scratch, this time chosing exactly the things that I love to do, so I’m sure that I’ll keep and grow this business for many more years.

Now I know the difference between doing what you think that you can sell well and doing what you love most and you think that you might sell.

I started this website with the purpose to make it grow, to make it become a benchmark amongst all personal development blogs, to break the standards and to get out of the box. You, dear readers, will be the measure of my success, I’ll find my reward in challenging you to come back to read new stories, to ask new questions or just to read again some old stuff which made a difference to you.

With the hope that you will like what you read and you will keep on coming back,

Yours,

Questallia
